Behind the open kitchen, an arancino is being lifted from hot oil, golden and trembling, ready to be cracked open and reveal its molten saffron heart. A waiter passes with a sea bream from the Josper, its skin tight and crisp, charred lemon glistening alongside. This is Ninnyo on a Tuesday in the spring of 2026, weeks into a new chapter for one of Tel Aviv's most established kosher restaurant families, and the room already moves with the easy rhythm of a place that knows what it is.

Lior and Nemy Bados were running 2C on the forty ninth floor of the Azrieli Round Tower for twenty five years before they closed it in January 2026. Twenty five years of French Mediterranean fine dining, of marriage proposals on the terrace, of business dinners stretched into city light reveries. When that chapter closed, the family did not retreat. They took over the Weizmann 2 space that had previously housed UNO, the kosher Italian restaurant featured on the reality show "Opening a Restaurant" under Chef Nitzan Raz, and they brought their history with them.
